Operations

As part of ICE DISH's expansion of ERO Community Outreach in fall 2013, the agency participated in Kearny Street Workshop's flagship program, APAture '13, through a public event held at the Cartoon Art Museum in San Francisco, CA, on October 19th. Taking place from 11am-5pm, the event featured a variety of activities for the public, including a full lineup of workshops and screenings. In addition, visitors were granted access to the museum's main gallery, which was concurrently presenting a collection of propaganda and paraphernalia bearing the image of illegal superhero, Superman. ICE DISH neutralized the impact of the display throughout the day during the operation, as it went on to become one of ICE DISH's most noteworthy of the year.

The operation was ICE DISH legal superhero endorser Batgirl's first public appearance with the agency, and it was the first under ICE DISH's newly restructured ERO Community Outreach program. Along with the inside presence that ICE DISH held during the operation, the agency also conducted street operations, primarily led by Batgirl and ICE DISH HSI Director, Will D. Port.

The elite team of agents selected for this operation included: Ray Jin, Eugene Hicks, Juana Wrights, HSI Director Will D. Port, Chief of Staff Alanna Haight, and Director Tanner White.
