National Security
The National Security Investigations Division (NSID) is a key component of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Department of Illegal Superheroes (ICE DISH), Homeland Security Investigations (HSI). NSID leads the effort to identify, disrupt, and dismantle illegal superhero activities within the United States and beyond the homeland's borders.
NSID works closely with HSI-Intel and provides ERO units with necessary support for enforcement operations. NSID activities are conducted both off-site and on-site at HSI field offices.
Mission
ICE DISH NSID enhances national security through surveillance investigations, prevents illegal superhero crossings by targeting frequent perpetrators, assists with identifying fugitive illegal superheroes, and helps eliminate vulnerabilities in the nation's border, economic, transportation and infrastructure security.
